Framing
A quiet presentation that protects the work’s restraint.
Studio guidance for framing limited-edition black & white fine art photographic prints, released from our Barcelona Studio.
Framing is not decoration.
It is the work’s boundary.
A frame can either amplify silence
or break it.

Two ways to receive the work
The work asks for precision.
A minimal profile. A controlled surface.
Materials that disappear so the image can remain.
Collector Delivery
Recommended for international collectors and long-distance travel.
Your signed, numbered, certified print is shipped unframed, rolled in an archival rigid protective tube.
The cleanest option for safe transit and customs.
From Tube to Wall
Rolled delivery is standard for fine art on paper.
To flatten the print, allow it to rest in a clean, dry space.
Unroll gently on a clean surface (cotton gloves if possible).
Place acid-free tissue on top, then weight evenly.
Let it settle 24–72 hours before framing.
If you need guidance, contact the studio.
Studio Framing Concierge
For collectors who want the studio to oversee the final presentation.
We propose framing routes aligned with the work and your space, on request.
How the Concierge Works
You share: edition, size, city, light conditions, wall tone.
We propose: 2–3 framing routes, Museum-grade materials,
and a quote in 24–48h.
We finalize: production, insurance, delivery or local framing guidance.
Typical lead time: 2–6 weeks, depending on destination and materials.
A frame is the last gesture.
When it is right, the work feels inevitable.
Artist Notes for Presentation
Keep the margins generous. Let the image breathe.
Prefer neutral tones: black matte, soft white, pale wood.
If you use a mat, choose archival white, never bright or tinted.
The frame should feel like silence, not like a statement.
The Studio Recommendation
Frame profile: slim, matte, quiet finish.
Glazing: museum glass, anti-reflective, UV protection.
Mounting: acid-free, archival hinges.
Backing: archival board, sealed against dust.
Avoid:
Glossy frames or aggressive shine ornate mouldings that pull focus.
Cheap backings that warp over time.
Direct sunlight as a permanent display.
