An Ordinary Couple
In An Ordinary Couple, partnership appears as a pact between elements that were never designed to share the same atmosphere. Two figures move through the outline of a shared life, but their inner coordinates pull in different directions. The series asks how much of a relationship can be sustained by ritual alone when instinct keeps listening to another climate
There is a quiet tragicomic note running through the images: the tenderness is real, yet slightly misfitted, like affection translated through the wrong alphabet. An Ordinary Couple lingers in that in-between space where love and mismatch coexist, and where the effort to be “us” is touching precisely because it may never fully succeed.
